TESTIMONIALS
Following is my regimen of prevention and intervention of FM (fibromyalgia). I am having great success with this and last Wednesday was released by my doctor from further appointments unless I deem them necessary. He told me that I am a real "turn around" case and that whatever I'm doing to keep it up. I entered his office on a scale of 1-10 as a ten (worst case scenario). I am leaving until (if) I need his help at a 2-3. I'm convinced that Unicity/Rexall products deliver! It has taken me one full year come October to achieve this. Therefore, patience! But how exciting! Here goes:
1. Calmplex - Two, one hour before bed. No caffeine. Meaning...no caffeine. Drink only decaf coffee or tea. Decaf sodas. Caffeine is a no-no for FM sufferers. (I was an eight cup a day coffee drinker. It's been one year and three months since I had a cup of coffee) Decaf green tea is a wonderful detox.
2. OsteoBasics - As directed on the bottle. DO NOT skip any doses. After the first month I now order just the OsteoEssentials.
3. C.M.Plex - Three in the a.m., afternoon and bedtime for the first month. After 30 days take as directed on the bottle. DO NOT skip any doses.
4. BioC - One, twice daily for absorption. This is important.
5. Defend-ol - One in the a.m., one at bedtime.
6. TLC - One pack daily.
7. BiosLife 2 - At least one pack a day for cleansing and improved absorption. Start taking this at night and start with a half pack for one week then go to one pack at the least.
After three months add according to your need: Invigor-ol, Immunizen, do a liver cleanse with Liver Essentials twice a year.
Now, diet: Carbohydrates for FM sufferers (and I hate to use that word, sufferers because I do not consider myself suffering any longer) are poison. Cut out all the useless carbohydrates that you can. If you try ephedra products you will have to monitor yourself for muscle tension and sleeplessness. Not good for FM Overcomers :-). We have a variety of diet products that do not have ephedra in them. Eight glasses of water a day if at all possible. I no longer use white sugar. I eat pasta rarely, only high-fiber grain breads, potatoes or rice once a week. Two years ago I lost fifty-two lbs. it took a year. Absolutely essential to relieve the pressure on already painful/weakened hot spots.
Find yourself a rheumatologist that is FM patient friendly AND is supportive of naturals/nutritionals. I am blessed to have Dr. Harris McIlwaine here in Tampa. He is a pioneer in FM and has been very supportive and encouraging. He has a book called "Fibromyalgia" by Dr. Harris McIlwaine. Can be ordered through Amazon.
Also, FM is hereditary....my sister who is seven years younger than I has just been diagnosed with FM.
I have a standing appointment with a massage therapist twice a month. This breaks up the toxin buildup around the hot spots and keeps me flexible.
A weekly regimen of exercise is the last frontier that I must tackle. I hate to exercise but am working it into my daily routine. And it is most helpful.
Take each day at a time. Look for the improvements as they come. Rejoice in them and be thankful and look for the next one! I'm coming out the other side of a very long flare-up and am very optimistic now that I have the Unicity Network to rely on.
